The Glasgow Jam

WEEKEND NATIONAL CONTACT IMPROVISATION JAM (with a distinctive Anglo-French flavour...)  AT SIOBHAN DAVIES STUDIOS  Saturday 1st March (11.00–21.00) & Sunday 2nd March (11.00-20.00) Plus a Friday evening jam at Chisenhale Dance Space (18.00-21.00) to welcome our Parisian guests   Back by popular demand, a weekend devoted to dance and creative connection, open to all interested in Contact Improvisation. Come and join us for an evening and two full days of dancing. There will be warm up classes (with Thomas Kampe, Gesine Daniels, Tamara Ashley). There will be live music with David Leahy, Jan Lee & Gianfranco Biasiol . There will be a ‘digital jam’ on Saturday evening with interactive projections. Colour, peripheral awareness, movement perception, sense of depth and quality of clarity are all sensitive and malleable sensations. Using the Bates method of vision education we will explore the connections between body, attention, intention, relaxation, movement and vision.
