New Jammers call out!

Expressions of Interest requested for New Jammers

@TheGlasgowJam is delighted to announce it has been awarded Creative Scotland funding to run its upcoming New Jammers Programme. The programme allows for up to eight participants to work over four months in a supportive environment to question, challenge and grow as multi-disciplinary jam facilitators. The mentorship project will meet once a month between March and June, and end with a group lead jam and open discussion, lead by Penny Chivas, with support from Tom Pritchard. We are excited to open our programme to a further two jammers to join our existing base of six.
We are looking for two people with;
- An interest in Contact Improvisation, and multi-art form play
- An openness and willingness for participation for group discussions and group improvisations
- And a desire to become a group leader in a studio context
Applicants should be available March 15th, April 12th, May 24th, June 7th and delivery of the final group jam on June 21st. Please state on your application if there are any dates you cannot make.
Please address the above criteria in no more than 400 words, attaching your CV and send to by 5pm on the 5th of March. Applications will be assessed by @TheGlasgowJam's Board of Directors, Tom Pritchard and Penny Chivas, and all applicants notified by March 9th. Please note: travel expenses are the responsibility of successful applicants. All sessions take place in Glasgow.
